In Friday’s home finale against Utah, Johnson took at least a share of four of the night’s five event titles and matched the team’s season-best all-around score with the nation’s third-highest total of 39.675. Johnson matched her collegiate-best balance beam score of 9.925 to share the win with junior Marissa King. Johnson also shared a 9.95 win on the uneven bars with junior Ashanée Dickerson and shared the vault title (9.90) with a pair of Utes. Johnson also posted a season-best floor exercise mark of 9.90 Friday.

This is the second SEC Gymnast of the Week award for Johnson this season and the third of her career. Johnson previously earned the weekly honor after posting a 39.625 in the all-around in Florida’s road meet at No. 17 Auburn.

In 2011, Johnson was named the SEC Gymnast of the Week once and the SEC Freshman Gymnast of the Week four times. She finished her debut season as the SEC Freshman of the Year and picked up three All-America honors as she became only the second Gator in the program’s history to advance to three NCAA Individual Event Finals (vault, bars, floor) in a single year.

In the March 19 GymInfo national rankings, Johnson is No. T5 in the all-around (39.450 regional qualifying score), No. T18 in vault (9.905 RQS), No. T7 in uneven bars (9.895 RQS) and No. T14 in balance beam (9.875 RQS).
