Wednesday February 29, 2012Florida to Host Pro Scout Day on March 13

Gainesville, Fla.

The University of Florida football program will hold its annual Pro Scout Day on Tuesday, March 13, when former Gator football players are scheduled to work out for NFL coaches and scouts.

 

Viewing for the on-field portion of this event, which will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m., is open to the public with free admission. Fans will be able to enter the stadium through Gates 12 and 15, which will open at 9:30 a.m., and sit in the east stands (behind Visitor’s sideline).

 

Current Florida football players will not be available for autographs. Former players who are participating in the Pro Day event may sign autographs at their own discretion.

 

Fans are also reminded that no video cameras are allowed.

 

If you are planning to attend the event, please familiarize yourself with the Gator Fans' Code of Conduct.

 

Prohibited Items


• Alcoholic beverages

• Large carry bags

• Artificial noise making devices

• Outside food and drink

• Back packs

• Strollers

• Cameras with detachable lens larger than 6 inches

• Tobacco products

• Chairbacks larger than a single seat (16 inches)

• Umbrellas

• Flags

• Video cameras/cases

• Food/drink containers including bottles, cans and thermoses

• Weapons

• Ice chests and ice bags

• Any items deemed hazardous by game management personnel

 

Law enforcement officials have the right to inspect any item at any time for the purpose of spectator safety.

 

Prohibited items must be returned to vehicles or disposed of before entering the stadium. There are no provisions to check items at the gates.
