In last Friday’s home meet win against then-No. 3 Georgia, Hunter was the sole owner of three of the night’s event titles. Hunter’s 39.675 all-around score stands as Florida’s top all-around total of the season, and the nation’s highest all-around score of last weekend. That all-around total shares third in the nation among this season’s all-around competitors.

She equaled her collegiate-best of 9.95 for her third vault win of the season and anchored the floor lineup with a 9.95 for her fifth floor title of the season. She also finished second on the balance beam by matching her collegiate-best of 9.925.

This is Hunter’s first Gymnast of the Week honor, and the third for the Gator gymnastics program in 2012. Two other Florida gymnasts have been named Gymnast of the Week this season – sophomore Alaina Johnson and junior Ashanée Dickerson. Hunter has also been named the conference’s Freshman Gymnast of the Week three times in 2012.

Hunter leads the 2012 Gators with 15 event titles, and she owns at least a share of the team’s top event scores on vault (9.95 twice), floor (9.975 vs. LSU) and all-around (39.675 vs. Georgia).

In the current GymInfo national rankings, Hunter holds the No. 16 position in all-around with her season average of 39.230. She also ranks No. T5 in floor (9.895), No. T5 in vault (9.910) and No. T10 in beam (9.870).

Next up, No. 1 Florida (9-1, 5-1 SEC) will travel to Lincoln, Neb., to face No. 6 Nebraska (10-1) on Sunday, March 4 at 3 p.m. ET in the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
