UF All-Tournament Team Players with Ollie and Alberta.

The ninth-ranked University of Florida volleyball team had five starters post .318 or better hitting efficiencies to give the Gators a 15-1, 15-4, 15-10 sweep of Tulane Saturday afternoon at its Conference Challenge at the Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.

Freshman Jacque Robinson (Merced, Calif./Golden Valley) tied a personal-best .700 (8K-1E-10TA) hitting efficiency to spawn a team .411 attack percentage. All-tournament selection Benavia Jenkins (Fort Pierce, Fla./John Carroll) deflated TU's offense with a match-high eight blocks. As a team UF out-blocked TU 10-4, holding the Green Wave to a .067 hitting efficiency.

An ace was the only way UF (27-4) let TU (17-17) score in the 14-minute first game. The Gators' momentum continued through Game 2 in which they hit at a stifling .438 clip and capped it off with a 9-1 scoring run. Nicole McCray (Longview, Texas/Pine Tree) had four of her 10 kills in that game. The sophomore all-tournament player was perfect throughout the match on 18 swings for a .556 hitting efficiency.

UF had an 11-1 lead in Game 3 before the Green Wave rolled in with a short offensive surge. TU posted its best offensive effort at .167, but was no match for UF's .412 average. UF resumed its scoring with an ace, ending an 8-0 TU run.

Freshman Aury Cruz (Levittown, Puerto Rico/Bayamon Military Academy) was named the tournament MVP. She finished with nine kills, eight digs and four blocks. Setter Kris Bova (Milwaukee, Wis./Divine Savior) also represented UF on the all-tournament team. Bova hit .600 (4K-1E-5TA) and dished out 40 assists in the win.

The Gators are an automatic qualifier for the NCAA Tournament after winning their eight SEC Tournament title Nov. 19. The bracket will be announced Sunday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. The Sunshine Network will broadcast it live.

UF will learn its seeding then. "We know we're in," Coach Mary Wise said. "What we don't know is what seed we'll be. We've played a competitive schedule, and the losses came to ranked opponents. We won the ones we were supposed to win."
