There are a combined nine Gators on the remaining NFL team's rosters

Six former Gators were active for the Wild Card Weekend of the NFL Playoffs. Of those six, five started for their respective teams. Tim Tebow highlighted the first round of the NFL Playoffs by throwing for a career-high 316 yards, rushing for 50 yards and accounting for three touchdowns in an overtime thriller versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tebow’s game-winning 80-yard touchdown pass is the longest touchdown pass in overtime in NFL history.

The Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs will kickoff January 14th with New Orleans at San Francisco at 4:30 p.m. ET and Denver at New England at 8 p.m. ET. The second round will conclude on January 15th with Houston at Baltimore at 1 p.m. ET and New York at Green Bay at 4:30 p.m. ET.



• Mike Peterson- On Injured Reserve with a triceps injury


• Andre Caldwell- On Injured Reserve with a groin/abdominal injury

• Carlos Dunlap- Collected one tackle in a loss to the Houston Texans

• Reggie Nelson- Started at FS and had six tackles, including one sack and one tackle for a loss.


• Derrick Harvey- Was not active Wild Card Weekend

• Tim Tebow- Received the start at QB. Tebow threw for 316 yards, two touchdowns and no interception on 10-for-21 passing. Tebow also ran 10 times for 50 yards and one touchdown. Tebow’s 316 passing yards were the highest total against the Steelers this season

• Marcus Thomas- Started at DT and recorded one tackle in a win over the Steelers


• Justin Trattou- Was not active against the Atlanta Falcons


• Marcus Gilbert- Started at RT. It was his first career playoff start.

• Maurkice Pouncey- Did not play due to an ankle injury

• Max Starks- Started at LT and left midway through the game with an injury
