This upcoming weekend will be an exciting time on the University of Florida campus, as the NCAA Gainesville Super Regional between Florida (48-16) and Mississippi State (37-23) will be held at McKethan Stadium from Friday through potentially Sunday, June 10-12. The winner of the best-of-three series will advance to the NCAA College World Series in Omaha, Neb. Game times on the diamond are at 12 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with an if-necessary game to be held on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to utilize the event shuttle from the Commuter Lot on Lemerand Drive which will run every day of the tournament action. In addition, parking restrictions will be lifted on Friday for the Stephen C. O’Connell Center parking lot, spaces along fraternity row and for the parking lot at Percy Beard Track.
The shuttle buses will stop at the right-field gate in front of the Lemerand Center for access to the baseball games and fans can access McKethan Stadium through the first-base ticket gate. The shuttles will run for 30 minutes following the conclusion of the event and the return pick-up point will be in the same location.
