There were 32 former University of Florida football players on NFL rosters in Week 2.  Thirteen players started, while 28 earned playing time.

 

NFL Gator Stats

·         DE Alex Brown, New Orleans – started at defensive end in the Saints’ 25-22 victory over San Francisco, registering two tackles

·         G Cooper Carlisle, Oakland – started at right guard in the Raiders’ 16-14 win vs. St. Louis

·         WR Riley Cooper, Philadelphia – caught one pass for 20 yards (three targets) in the Eagles’ win over Detroit

·         LB Channing Crowder, Miami – was not activated to play against Minnesota

·         LB Jermaine Cunningham, New England – registered two tackles in the Patriots’ loss to the Jets

·         LB Andra Davis, Buffalo – started at middle linebacker in the Bills’ loss to Green Bay, forcing a fumble and collecting seven tackles (five solo)

·         DE Carlos Dunlap, Cincinnati – was not activated to play against Baltimore

·         WR Jabar Gaffney, Denver – started at wide receiver in the Broncos’ 31-14 win over Seattle, tallying two receptions (five targets) for 15 yards

·         RB Earnest Graham, Tampa Bay – was the Bucs’ leading receiver with five receptions (six targets), including a 14-yard touchdown reception, in the 20-7 victory against Carolina

·         QB Rex Grossman, Washington – did not play in the Redskins’ loss to Houston

·         CB Joe Haden, Cleveland – tallied two tackles for the Browns in their loss to Kansas City

·         DE Derrick Harvey, Jacksonville – started at defensive end in the Jaguars’ loss to San Diego

·         WR Percy Harvin, Minnesota – started at wide receiver in the Vikings’ loss to Miami, tallying 32 yards on five receptions (seven targets), returning two kickoff returns for 44 yards and recording one tackle

·         TE Aaron Hernandez, New England – started at tight end in the Patriots’ loss to the Jets, leading the team with six receptions for 101 yards

·         DE Ray McDonald, San Francisco – played in San Francisco’s loss to New Orleans, recording one tackle

·         DE Jeremy Mincey, Jacksonville – tallied two tackles in the Jaguars’ loss to San Diego

·         DE Jarvis Moss, Denver – recorded three tackles, including a sack, in the Broncos’ 31-14 win over Seattle

·         WR Louis Murphy, Oakland – started at wide receiver in the Raiders’ 16-14 win vs. St. Louis, leading the team with six receptions (10 targets) for 91 yards and a touchdown, while recording a tackle

·         WR David Nelson, Buffaloplayed but did not record a stat in the Bills’ loss to Green Bay

·         S Reggie Nelson, Cincinnati – played, but did not record a stat in the Bengals’ 15-10 win vs. Baltimore

·         LB Mike Peterson, Atlanta – made one tackle in the Falcons’ 41-7 victory over Arizona

·         C Maurkice Pouncey, Pittsburgh – started at center in the Steelers’ 19-11 win over Tennessee

·         CB Lito Sheppard, Minnesota – started at corner in the Vikings’ loss to Miami, tallying two tackles

·         LB Brandon Siler, San Diego – started at inside linebacker in the Chargers’ 38-13 victory over Jacksonville, recording six tackles and an interception

·         LB Brandon Spikes, New England – started at inside linebacker in the Patriots’ loss to the Jets, registering a game-high nine tackles

·         LT Max Starks, Pittsburgh – saw time on the offensive line in the Steelers’ 19-11 win over Tennessee

·         RB Fred Taylor, New England – carried five times for 11 yards in the Patriots’ loss to the Jets

·         QB Tim Tebow, Denver – did not play in the Broncos’ 31-14 win over Seattle

·         DT Marcus Thomas, Denver – recorded one tackle in the Broncos’ 31-14 win over Seattle

·         DT Gerard Warren, New England – started at left end in the Patriots’ loss to the Jets, recording a game-high two sacks

·         S Major Wright, Chicago played but did not record a stat in the Bears’ 27-20 victory against Dallas

·         RB DeShawn Wynn, New Orleansplayed but did not record a stat in the Saints’ 25-22 victory over San Francisco
