University of Florida softball team will host the
first round of the NCAA Tournament starting Friday, May 21 at Katie Seashole
Pressly Stadium. The Gators (43-8) will host UCF (35-21), FIU (36-19) and
on Friday with UCF vs. FIU at 3:30pm, followed by Florida vs. Bethune-Cookman
at 6:00pm. Play then continues on Saturday and Sunday.

Conferences also sent seven teams each.
Florida advanced to the Women’s College
World Series the last two years, including the championship series last
season. Defending National Champion Washington will host a regional as
the No. 3 seed.
Ticket packages can be purchased
in advance or at the gate for $25 for adults and $10 for students, senior
citizens or children for all sessions (each day is one session). Single game
tickets cost $10 for an adult ticket and $5 for students, senior citizens or
