Thoughts on the match:
“We
fought, we focused and we were able to win those games and that just shows you
how focused we were. If we continue to play focused like that then we’ll be a
tough team to beat.”
“I’m
convinced it could be any temperature tomorrow and this team will still
continue to play at its best.”
On the Gators’ preparations:
“What we
want to believe going into this tournament is that we’ve done what we should
training wise, and then we can live with whatever outcome. If we know we’ve
poured our heart and soul into it and we lose, then we know the opposing team
was just better.”
“No matter
what, I knew the team was all ready and that makes you sleep a lot better
knowing that.”
“We are
not going to play any match knowing we’re so good that we don’t have to try.”
UF Freshman Allie Will
“We were
all excited to start playing today and I think Coach prepared us enough to help
us win. We’ve been training hard for the past three weeks and we were happy to
be able to go on the court and play as hard as we trained.”
UF Sophomore Claire Bartlett
“It’s a
great opportunity to be able to come in and play. We were all excited.”

the way through, especially at four and five. Their level at four and five is
really no different than at one and two, and that’s what makes them a great
team.”
