Sunday March 14, 2010Ticket Information Announced For NCAA Basketball First and Second Rounds
With its selection to the 2010 NCAA Division I Menís Basketball Tournament, the University of Florida has been invited to play in the first round on Thurs., March 18, in Oklahoma City, Okla. at the Ford Center against the BYU Cougars.
Starting at 8 p.m., Sun., March 14, the Gator Ticket Office will accept ticket orders from UF Basketball Season Ticket Holders only.† There is no guarantee that all orders can be filled.† Ticket prices are $68 per session and are for the sessions Florida appears in only.† Due to the short turn-around between the first and second rounds of play in the NCAA Tournament, those interested fans must purchase session tickets for both the first and second rounds at the same time.† If the Gators fail to advance to the second round, all tickets purchased for this round will be refunded.
Ticket orders will be accepted until 5:00 p.m., Mon., March 15.† Fans can order tickets using one of the following methods:
1. Online at www.Gatorzone.com/tickets.
2. Call the Gator Ticket Office and place your order with a Ticket Operations Specialist at (352) 375-4683, ext. 6800.† The Gator Ticket Office is open from 8:30 a.m. Ė 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
3. Walk up and place your order at the Gator Ticket Office, located at Gate 1 of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Mon., March 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The University Athletic Association received 350 tickets, the same allotment as the other schools in the region.
UF students who have attended at least 10 home basketball games may begin ordering tickets Mon., March 15 at 8:30 a.m. by calling or visiting the Gator Ticket Office.† Ticket prices are $68 per session and both the first and second rounds must be purchased at the same time.† If the Gators fail to advance to the second round, all tickets purchased for this round will be refunded.
ALL TICKETS HAVE TO BE PICKED UP AT FLORIDA WILL CALL AT THE FORD CENTER, ON GAMEDAY, THURS., MARCH 18.† ONLY THE SEASON TICKET HOLDER/STUDENT MAY PICK UP TICKETS ON SITE AND MUST PRESENT A PHOTO ID.† DOORS OPEN 90 MINUTES BEFORE TIP OF THE SESSION.
