Saturday February 13, 2010Men's Golf Leads After 36 Holes at Gator Invitational

Gainesville, Fla.

The fourth-ranked University of Florida menís golf team is currently leading the field at the 33rd annual SunTrust Gator Invitational. The squad shot a total score of 562 (283-279, +2) after 36 holes of play amidst cold and windy conditions on Saturday at the Mark Bostick Golf Course.

ďIím happy with today,Ē said head coach Buddy Alexander. ďOf course you never feel comfortable with any lead. Iíve had some big leads going into final rounds and it didnít turn out the way we had hoped. But Iím pleased with the performance today in some difficult conditions. It was cold out there and the wind was going.Ē
