Great plays on the football field deserve great cheers from the stands, and now they deserve their own ring tones. Alltel Wireless, America’s largest network, is giving college football fans the chance to download their favorite play in the Alltel “Championship Ring Tone Contest,” which features audio clips from both Alltel-sponsored college football national championship contenders – the University of Oklahoma Sooners and the University of Florida Gators.
Starting today through January 8, fans can visit alltelfootball.com to listen to the “Championship Ring Tone Contest” selections and text their choice to 334455. Finalists include:

After making their selection, fans will automatically receive a free ring tone with the audio clip for which they voted. The school with the most fan downloads will win a $10,000 donation to its general scholarship fund courtesy of Alltel Wireless.
