Florida Softball team (18-8) lost its final game in the Stacey Winsberg Memorial Tournament on Sunday morning, as it fell

the score was the same as Friday’s game with

defense worked themselves out of a jam in the bottom of the fourth. Kelsey
Warning led off the inning with a base hit to left center. Andrea Shifflet came in to pinch run for her at first. She
advanced to second on a Buker sacrifice. A Stacy Birk base hit to left moved Shifflet
to third with only one out. Casey Gorrell reached on
a fielder’s choice as Redbird runners were doubled up at third and the Gator
defense took Shifflet out. Following a walk to
Shannon Nicholson, Jackie Williams lined out to senior Lauren Roussell (
The
Gators had their best chances to score in the first and seventh innings.
