Stacy Bishop is a NSCAA/adidas Women?s College Scholar All-America first team member.

Stacy Bishop, junior forward for the University of Florida soccer team, was named to the 2006 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Women’s College Scholar All-America first team

Stacy Bishop, junior forward for the University of Florida soccer team, was named to the 2006 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Women’s College Scholar All-America first team. This is her second appearance on a national academic team this season, as she was named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America third team in November. Bishop joins the list of previous Gator NSCAA/adidas Scholar athletes such as Erin Baxter (1998), Michelle Harris (1998), Sarah Yohe (1998, ‘99) and Stephanie Freeman (2004).

Bishop also earned NSCAA/adidas All-America third-team honors in 2006. Bishop is one of seven on the 12-member Scholar All-America first team to also earn 2006 NSCAA All-America honors. Bishop led the 2006 Gators in points (30), goals (12), assists (6) and game-winning goals (6). She owns a 3.67 GPA in health education and behavior--health promotion.
