The University of Florida football team has accepted an invitation to play in the BCS National Championship Game at 8 p.m. on FOX on Jan. 8, 2007, at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. The Gators will be making their 16th-straight bowl appearance, which ranks first in the SEC and third nationally.

The Gator Ticket Office will begin taking orders for the BCS National Championship Game on Sun., Dec. 3, 2006, starting at 9 p.m. Football Booster season-ticket holders can order through the G.A.T.O.R.S. phone system by calling (877) 428-6742 (toll-free) or locally at (352) 384-3261. 

THE DEADLINE FOR ORDERING CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS IS 5:00 PM, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2006.

Tickets are $175 each, plus a $5 processing fee for each order. Football season-ticket holders are allowed to order within the limits listed below for each priority. 

IF YOU WERE UNABLE TO PURCHASE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS DUE TO NOT MEETING THE MINIMUM BOOSTER POINT REQUIREMENT, IT IS VERY UNLIKELY THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS.  PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

Even though limits are established, there is NO guarantee that all orders can be filled. If refunds are necessary, those who must receive a refund will be notified as soon as possible after the deadline.  The University Athletic Association also reserves the right to reduce the number of tickets ordered to insure as many season ticket holders as possible have the opportunity to attend. Reductions are not identified by the Gator Booster Points System, but by the number of years in a particular Booster contribution level.

Requests for orders to be filled and seated together with others cannot be accepted due to the very short turn-around time required to process and mail tickets.

The G.A.T.O.R.S. phone system will begin accepting BCS National Championship ticket orders from UF students at 6 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 7, 2006. Eligible UF Students must call (877) 428-6747 (toll-free) or (352) 384-3262 (locally). Tickets are $175 each, plus a $4 processing fee per order, and are limited to one per student. UF students must be full-time, but do not have to be a football season-ticket holder to order bowl tickets. Student tickets are sold on a first-call, first-serve basis until sold out. Ticket pickup will begin at 8:30 a.m., Mon., Dec. 11, 2006, through Thurs., Dec. 14, 2006, at 5 p.m. at the Student Ticket Office, Gate 13.
