Sunday October 1, 2006ESPN's College GameDay To Originate From The Swamp Saturday

ESPN
announced on Sunday that its College GameDay show
will emanate from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium this weekend, the site of the
Florida-LSU game in The Swamp. The fifth-ranked
Gators (5-0/3-0 SEC) and the ninth-ranked Tigers (4-1/1-1 SEC) will meet at
3:30 p.m. on CBS Sports.
Since
1993, College GameDay has been television's
definitive and comprehensive college football studio show and has traveled most
weeks on college Saturday's to the day's big game and has been met by large and
enthusiastic crowds. The two-hour program with host Chris Fowler and analysts
Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit
airs live on ESPN each Saturday at 10 a.m. The show covers all college football
angles, issues and game previews.
