An enthusiastic and passionate Stephen C. O’Connell crowd of 6,000 took up the University of Florida’s invitation to watch Gators face the UCLA Bruins for the 2006 NCAA Men’s Basketball NCAA Championship. The attendance was estimated at 4,500 during the first half, but grew as the game continued. During commercial breaks the Rowdy Reptiles and the Gator fans took part in contests and were entertained by the Gator cheerleaders and Dazzlers.
