Overview

The Dazzlers are the official dance team of the University of Florida’s Athletic Association and serve as representatives for the University at various athletic and community events. In addition to performances and appearances at some football games, volleyball matches and gymnastics meets, the Dazzlers perform at all men’s and women’s basketball games.

Each year, the Dazzlers travel with the men’s and women’s basketball teams to the Southeastern Conference basketball tournaments. The Dazzlers also travel to the NCAA tournaments. In addition to local and national broadcasts of football and basketball games, the Dazzlers have been featured on programs such as ESPN College Gameday, the CBS Early Show and the CBS Final Four Pre-Game Show.

Throughout the year, the Dazzlers appear at local community and philanthropic events on average of once per week. The Dazzlers have had the opportunity of working with the Five Points of Life Marathon, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society and Climb for Cancer.

Partial scholarships are awarded to the Dazzlers each semester by the University Athletic Association. Scholarship amounts are based on years of participation and scholastic achievement.
