Career Highlights: Is the first left-handed pitcher to sign with the Gators during Tim Walton’s tenure in Gainesville.

 

As a Freshman (2014): Made 27 appearances (18 starts) in the circle during her first season on campus…Compiled a 15-1 record and a 2.67 ERA with 127 strikeouts two saves, nine complete games and five shutouts…Made history on May 16, when she threw a five-inning no-hitter against Florida A&M, marking the first postseason no-hitter in school history…Became the third Gator freshman in a four-year span to strike out at least 100 batters…Struck out an average of 8.26 batters per 7.0 innings pitched, a figure that ranks fourth all-time for a single season at UF (min. 50 IP) and represents the highest mark ever for a Gator freshman…Earned five wins over ranked opponents (Feb. 8 vs. Michigan, Feb. 16 vs. Minnesota, March 16 at LSU, April 19 at Texas A&M, June 3 vs. Alabama)… Notched four series-clinching victories (March 9 vs. Ole Miss, March 16 at LSU, April 19 at Texas A&M, June 3 vs. Alabama)…Recorded the save in her first career appearance on Feb. 7 vs. Illinois State at the USF Wilson-DeMarini Invitational… Beat the Wolverines the next day in extra innings to earn her first win… Struck out a career-best 11 batters in a one-hitter on March 2 vs. Radford at the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic in Kissimmee, Fla. …Threw a second one-hitter April 11 vs. Florida A&M in a five-inning Gator victory…Earned the win in the season’s final game as she tossed two hitless and scoreless innings June 3 vs. Alabama to help Florida clinch the first national championship in program history.

 

High School / Travel Ball: A 2013 graduate of El Capitan High School in Lakeside, Calif….Played travel ball with the Southern California Athletics, coached by Bruce Richardson…Led the So Cal Athletics squad to both the 2011, 2012 and 2013 PGF 18U National Championship Titles…Shattered the San Diego California Interscholastic Federation Record for strikeouts during her career at El Capitan, finishing with 1,352 Ks and ranks 10th all-time in the state of California for high school career strikeouts…A candidate for the California Gatorade Softball Player of the Year in both 2012 & 2013…A MaxPreps 2013 Medium Schools Second Team All-American…The 2013 East County Pitcher of the Year…A Second Team All-State selection by Cal-Hi Sports her senior season…Named the 2012 Softball Athlete of the Year at the 2012 Prep Athletes Awards Gala, hosted by the San Diego Sports Commission…Tallied 349 strikeouts her senior season, 345 Ks her junior season, 335 her sophomore year and 323 her first year at El Capitan…The 2012 San Diego Union Tribune Player of the Year, East County Sports Player and Pitcher of the Year…2012 All-League First Team and Pitcher of the Year, Union Tribune All-Academic Softball Team…Also as a junior, was named to the San Diego All-CIF First Team and Coaches All-CIF Team Division III Pitcher of the Year…A 2012 All-State First Team selection by ESPNHS and Max Preps All-American…Led El Capitan to the state semi-finals for the first time since 2002 and led El Capitan to the CIF Championship Game for the first time in school history, where the squad won the state title in 2012…As a junior and senior in 2011 & 2012, named All-East County First Team, 2012 All-League First Team and Pitcher of the Year both years…Four-time El Capitan MVP…Graced the cover of Softball Today as the cover story in August 2011…As a freshman, was the 2010 All-East County Newcomer of the Year, Second Team and All-Freshman Team honoree, All-League First Team accolades…ASA 16U squad was the 2010 state champion, while placing 25th at the national championship that year.
