·         2014 Mexico Women’s National Team

·         Her third career home run was a grand slam at Texas A&M in April of 2014

·         Set a Gator sophomore record with an SEC-leading 15 sacrifice bunts in 2013

·         Led the team and league in sac bunts again as a junior with 13

·         Led all SEC freshmen and the entire Gator squad in 2012 with 10 sacrifice bunts

 

As a Junior (2014):

·         SEC Academic Honor Roll

·         56 games / 51 starts

·         Florida was 46-5 with Medina in the starting lineup

·         Made just six errors in 162 chances

·         Four multi-hit games

·         Three multi-RBI games

·         Had a career-best three hits twice

o    Enjoyed a career day on April 19 at Texas A&M, when she went 3-for-3 with a personal-best three runs scored, a double and a grand slam to help the Gators secure a  road series victory

o    Was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI Feb. 15 vs. Ohio State

·         Her outburst in College Station started a three-game hit streak, which tied a career-high and carried over into the series finale against the Aggies and the midweek rout of USF

·         Was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI single in the Super Regional opener on May 24 vs. Washington

·         Was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and three RBI on March 2 vs. Maryland

·         Recorded her only stolen base of the season (fifth of her career) on Feb. 28 vs. No. 4 Oregon

·         Batted .278 in road games, which was 62 points above her season average

·         Posted a .267 clip during the day, representing a 51-point jump from her overall mark

·         Had a hand in 10 of the Gators’ school-record 28 double plays, including two of the team’s WCWS-record seven double plays in Oklahoma City

·         Tied her career high with six putouts Feb. 15 vs. Cal State Northridge in Las Vegas

 

As a Sophomore (2013):

·         65 games / 57 starts

·         Paced the SEC and UF with 15 sacrifice bunts

·         Ranked 11th in the nation in sacrifice hits per game (0.23)

·         Walked Florida off against UAB in the 2013 NCAA Super Regional opener with an RBI single to left-center that plated the game-winning run

·         Hit her first career home run against Loyola Marymount in the Cathedral City Classic in Palm Springs Feb. 21

·         Helped turn five of Florida’s 24 double plays

·         Was a career-best 3-for-3 versus FAMU at UF’s home tournament March 2, including her second home run

·         Three multi-hit games

·         Walked a season-high three times against Mount St. Mary’s March 1

·         Had a career-best six at-bats in UF’s epic 15-inning thrilling victory against Nebraska at the Women’s College World Series

·         Had a career-best six putouts against Arizona in UF’s season-opening tournament at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz.

 

 

As a Freshman (2012):

·         60 games / 54 starts

·         Recorded 10 sacrifice bunts to rank third in the SEC and lead the league’s freshmen

·         Had nearly a third of UF’s sacrifice hits on the season (10 of 35)

·         Helped turn seven of Florida’s 17 double plays

·         Six multi-hit games

·         One multi-RBI game

o    Two-run double at Ole Miss on April 7 helped the Gators clinch the series against the Rebels

·         Had a career-best five assists against Florida State, LSU and Kentucky

·         First collegiate hit was against USF at UF’s season-opening tournament in Tampa

·         First RBI came on a triple against No. 5 Washington at the Cathedral City Classic in Palm Springs, Calif.

·         Drew a season-high three walks, a third of her season total, against FIU April 20

 

High School / Travel Ball:

·         2011 graduate of Downey High School

·         Played travel ball with the Worth Firecrackers

o    Finished third at 2009 ASA Nationals

o    Won back-to-back Canada Cup Championships (2009-10)

·         MaxPreps Player of the Week (March 20, 2011)

·         Three-time Long Beach Press Telegram Softball Dream Team selection (2008, 2010-11)

·         Two-time (2009 & 2011) First Team All-San Gabriel Valley League

·         2010 Second Team All-San Gabriel Valley League

·         Hit .420 as a senior with 33 RBI 34 runs scored

·         Two-time Softball Scholar Athlete Award winner

·         Three-time Golden Glove Award winner

·         Owns a black belt in karate

·         A two-sport athlete in softball and tennis

·         As team captain, was undefeated in 33 doubles as a junior en route to the San Gabriel Valley League doubles title

·         Took second in doubles in 2009 in the league tourney, earning a Press Telegram Tennis Dream Team Honorable Mention accolade
