Owns two wins over top-25 programs in the circle for the Gators – 3/11/12 vs. No. 9 Tennessee and 3/31/12 vs. No. 9 Georgia…Knocked a UF-record tying two home runs in Florida’s 7-1 2012 NCAA Gainesville Regional win over UCF May 19, 2012…Following just her first year on campus, jumped on to a number of UF record book lists after registering a 1.85 ERA and 7.24 strikeouts per seven-inning game as a freshman…Named to the 2011 USA Softball Women’s Junior National Team…Helped Team USA to the Gold Medal at the IX ISF Junior Women’s World Championship in Cape Town, South Africa, in December 2011…Tossed the Junior World Championship Gold Medal Game, allowing just five hits, while fanning eight batters – including the last two – as Team USA defeated Japan to earn the Red, White and Blue’s second-consecutive Junior World Championship Title…Additionally played on the 2010 USA Junior National Softball Team that won Gold at the Pan American Games in Bogota, Colombia.

 

 

As a Freshman (2012): A 2012 SEC All-Freshman Team selection in the infield and NFCA All-South East Region First Team honoree in the pitcher/utility category her first year on campus…A dual threat at the plate and in the circle for the Gators… Played in and started all 61 games her first year on campus, registering a .321 batting clip, fourth-best on the Gators squad in 2012…Tallied three 11-strikeout performances her freshman year, registering the seventh-best ERA in the Southeastern Conference (1.85), a 15-5 record in 27 appearances, while fanning 129 through 124.2 innings of work in the circle in 2012…Picked up two wins in the circle over top-25 ranked opponents her freshman season…Registered 7.24 strikeouts per seven inning game her first year in the circle for the Gators…At the plate, ranked fourth in the SEC with 52 RBI, aided by her 14 homers, which placed her sixth in the conference her freshman season… Led the Gators in doubles (10), homers (14), RBI (52), walks (37) and sac flies (3)…Registered a team-best 15 multiple-RBI games, along with 15 multiple-hit games…Owned the team’s longest reached-base streak, an 18-game strand…Was three times the SEC Freshman of the Week (Feb. 20, March 12 and March 19)...Had a near no-hitter April 14 versus Auburn with no hits allowed through six and 1/3 innings before giving up a homer and another base hit to finish the afternoon with a two-hitter, while fanning 11 batters to tie a season-best strikeout performance…Had season-best 3-for-4 performances four times her freshman year against Tennessee, South Carolina, Arkansas and in UF’s series-opening win at Alabama… Blasted a UF-record tying and season-best two home runs in Florida’s 7-1 2012 NCAA Gainesville Regional win over UCF May 19, 2012…Tallied 11 strikeouts in her Florida debut versus Maine Feb. 11, while fanning 11 against Gardner-Webb March 2 and 11 versus Auburn April 14…Threw six shutouts and three combined shutouts her freshman season…Led the Gators to their first-round SEC Tournament win against LSU with a two-hit shutout in the circle and also went 1-for2 at the plate with a walk to aid UF’s efforts as Florida went on to play in the SEC Tournament Championship Game for the fifth time in school history…Had a team-leading seven hits (.538 avg.) for the Gators through Florida’s stay in the 2012 NCAA Tournament with three homers, three runs and five RBI…Strung together a season-best five-game hit streak from March 18 to March 28, drew a season-best three walks in UF’s victory over Texas A&M at the Cathedral City Classic in Palm Springs and had a best 11 putouts at first base against Kentucky April 27.

 

High School / Travel Ball: A pitcher and first baseman from Peoria, Ariz. … Played travel ball with the Arizona Hotshots Gold, taking third at ASA Nationals in 2008...A double threat in the circle and at the plate…Broke the 2006 single-season state record of 20 homers – she had 21 – and tied the career record (48) en route to leading the Skyhawks through the 2011 Arizona 5A playoffs, while also owning a 26-5 record in the circle with 413 strikeouts in 208 innings (0.44 ERA) …One of 10 players in the country last year nominated for the MaxPreps National Softball Player of the Year award…A 2011 ESPN Rise Under Armour All-American that played in the game in Orlando last summer…Additionally a 2011 NFCA first team high school All-American…The 2011 West Valley Preps Girls Athlete of the Year…Three times been named first team All-Region and three times been named Regional Player of the Year (2009, 2010, 2011)…Led the Skyhawks to runner-up status at the state softball tournament her sophomore season in 2009 on her way to First Team All-State honors, while also picking up 2010 First Team All-Arizona accolades in 2010 as a junior…A three-sport letter winner in volleyball and basketball, was also tabbed a volleyball First Team All-Region selection her junior and senior seasons after leading Deer Valley in kills her senior season, while picking up volleyball Honorable Mention All-Region honors her sophomore season…Additionally helped the Skyhawk basketball team to a second-place standing in the state tournament as a sophomore.
