Career Highlights:

Tied for third in stolen bases for a UF freshman (16) in 2011, and checked in fourth in UF’s first-year record book for runs scored (43) her inaugural year on campus.

 

As a Freshman (2011): Started all but one game at the hot corner for the Gators her freshman season, playing in 68 of UF’s 69 games…A 2011 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll selection…Helped lead UF to its fourth-consecutive Women’s College World Series, including a trip to the Championship Series for the second time in school history…Had five home runs her first year as a Gator, two of which were grand slams that contributed to Florida’s eight overall grand slams on the season…Was one of two Gators to have two grand slams, joining 2011 senior Megan Bush…Swiped 16-of-19 bases for UF to rank second on the team in stolen bases…Committed just five errors at third base in her 68 games played for the Orange and Blue her freshman season…Had 105 assists on the year and ranked third among all Southeastern Conference freshmen through league play in assists…Tied for third in stolen bases for a UF freshman (16) and fourth in UF’s record book for runs scored (43) for a first-year Gator…Turned in seven multi-hit games and five multiple-RBI games her freshman season, highlighted by a season-best 3-for-4 performance Feb. 16 at Jacksonville, followed by four RBI outings March 5 and March 19 with grand slams against North Dakota State and Ole Miss…Had four postseason hits in the NCAA Tournament in 2011, including hits against UCLA in Regionals, Oregon in Super Regionals and both games against Alabama in the Women’s College World Series…A former high school pitcher, had one appearance in the circle for UF her first year as a Gator against Georgia March 26 in a relief appearance…Tossed 27 pitches through two innings of the contest in Gainesville, giving up two hits and three runs to the Bulldogs.

 

High School: A 2010 graduate of Dunnellon High School in Dunnellon, Fla. … Coached by her father, Kevin Fagan… Led the Dunnellon Tigers to a 33-1 finish, amassing a 26-1 record in the circle in 2010 … Named the 2010 Gatorade National Player of the Year, just the second softball athlete to win the award…Led Dunnellon to two straight Class 4A Florida state softball titles over the past two seasons, earning Florida Gatorade Florida Player of the Year honors both years in the process… Pitched three no-hitters and allowed only 56 hits over 127 innings as a senior at Dunnellon … Put together a .574 batting average while belting eight home runs, 13 doubles and driving in 61 runs…Scored 53 of her own and recorded a .989 slugging percentage…Was the first Marion County fast-pitch softball team to earn a trip to the Final Four in 2009 … Became the second Marion County athlete to earn Gatorade National Player of the Year honors since UF quarterback John Brantley did so in 2007…Named to both the 2009 and 2010 ESPN RISE Under Armour All-America Softball Game Rosters … Also earned a spot on the Louisville Slugger/NFCA High School All-South Regional First Team as a pitcher…The 2009 Florida Dairy Farmers Player of the Year, 2009 Star Banner Player and Pitcher of the Year and 2009 Class 4A Tournament MVP…Named to the Class 4A First-Team All-State team her junior and senior seasons after earning second-team honors as a sophomore and third-team honors as a freshman… Played travel ball for Team North Florida which was previously coached by 2011 UF assistant volunteer coach Coy Adkins.
