Career Highlights: Owns the top spot in Florida record books for single-season batting average (.407), single-season on-base percentage (.508) and three single-season fielding records, including putouts (259) and double plays turned (22) … Also tied for the number one slot for single-season hits (88) … Finished three-year career at UF ranked in the top 10 on 17 career lists, including third for batting average (.332), second for on-base percentage (.504), fourth for RBIs (144), fifth for walks (104) and fourth for fielding percentage (.990) … Ranked in the top 10 on 14 other single-season lists, including second for doubles (18), fifth for RBIs (56), sixth for slugging percentage (.616) and tied for 10th with a .992 fielding percentage … Registered a 12-game hit streak in 2008, tied for the third-longest streak in program history … Sent the Gators to their first-ever Women’s College World Series championship series with a walk-off grand slam in 2009.

 

As a Senior (2009): Earned All-SEC Second-Team and SEC All-Defensive Team honors … Played all 68 games, starting 67 at first base … Recorded a .295 batting clip, while tallying 37 runs and 59 hits, 21 for extra bases … Tied for second on the team with 11 doubles and 11 game-winning RBIs … Third on the team with 38 walks and a .992 fielding percentage, recorded on three errors in 386 chances … Fourth among Gators with 48 RBIs, tallying 13 multi-RBI games … Also recorded 13 multi-hit games and four game-winning runs …  Recorded 25 RBIs in league games, good to tie for fourth-best in the conference … Registered a 10-game hit streak from March 11 to March 28, batting .375 with 12 hits, including four doubles … Hit first career grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Gators over No. 4/3 Alabama into the WCWS championship series on May 31 … Home run also set a new SEC team single-season record (86) … Tallied two hits, three runs, two RBIs and two walks in the Gainesville Regional … Recorded a two-run home run in the SEC Tournament win over No. 16 Tennessee on May 8, tallying two runs and two walks … Batted .545 (6-for-11) with three runs scored, a home run and seven RBIs in the three-game series with Arkansas … Hit first career multiple-home run game, nailing two at No. 18 LSU, while tallying a season-high four RBIs on April 19 … Tallied the only Gator hit off Kentucky’s Rachel Riley in the ninth inning of the first game at Kentucky on April 11, which led the Gators’ 1-0 win … Went 1-for-3 in both games of the doubleheader against Mississippi State on April 4, tallying three RBIs and knocking in the tying run in the bottom of the seventh with two outs in the second game … Nailed a two-run home run at Auburn to break a scoreless tie in the third on April 1 … Batted .455 with five hits, including two doubles, and four RBIs in weekend series against No. 6 Tennessee … Went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in first game against the Lady Vols on March 21 … Hit the game-winning solo home run in the top of the sixth inning against Ole Miss in the first game of a doubleheader on March 14 to break the scoreless tie … Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored against Illinois on Feb. 28 … Batted a perfect 2-for-2 with a two-run homer and a sacrifice fly against USF on Feb. 27 … Was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two walks against Pacific on Feb. 27 … Was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, two doubles, two runs scored and two walks versus Georgia Tech on Feb. 15 … Went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBIs and a triple in the win over South Alabama on Feb. 14 … Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs against Texas Tech on Feb. 13.

 

As a Junior (2008): Earned first-team honors on the NFCA/Louisville Slugger All-American and Easton All-American teams … Named NFCA All-Southeast Region First Team … Named All-SEC First Team and All-SEC Defensive Team … Started and played in all 75 games … Led the team in batting average (.407), hits (88), doubles (18), multi-hit games (26) and tied for most extra-base hits (28) … Also third in the SEC in hits … Hit seven home runs, three triples and drove in 56 runs, the second-most on the team … Recorded a .616 slugging percentage and only struck out 24 times … Had 17 multi-RBI games, including three games with four RBIs … Drove in 15 winning runs and scored seven  … Went on a team-long 12-game hit streak from April 22 to May 16 … Ended the season on an eight-game hitting streak … Recorded a .989 fielding percentage and only six errors on the season playing first base … Second-best  hitter among all teams at the WCWS with a .438 batting average and led all hitters with seven hits … Recorded a .344 batting average in the entire NCAA Tournament with 11 hits, two RBI and a perfect fielding percentage … Named to the All-SEC Tournament Team, racking up a .500 batting average with four hits and going 2-for-3 with a triple in the championship game against Alabama … Went 7-for-11 with four doubles, three walks and four RBIs in the series against Tennessee … Went 6-for-12 with eight RBIs, two runs scored, two doubles and a home run in the series against Georgia … Hit 5-for-7 with a run, an RBI and a home run in the South Carolina doubleheader … Went 4-for-7 with a double, home run, three walks, four runs and three RBIs in the series with LSU, including a perfect 2-for-2 performance with three runs and two RBIs in the final game … Named SEC Player of the Week on March 31 for leading the Gator offense as the team went 5-0 in the week, including series sweeps over conference-foes South Carolina and No. 8 LSU … Hit a perfect 3-for-3 with a run and two RBIs against Stetson on Feb. 17 … Hit first home run of the season against College of Charleston on Feb. 15.

 

As a Sophomore (2007): Played and started in all 72 games … Florida’s third leading hitter with a .290 batting average … Shared the team lead in RBIs with 40 … Had a season-high five-game hit streak from April 1 to April 6 … Had 16 multi-hit games and a team-leading 12 multi-RBI games … Had a hit in each of Florida’s NCAA Regional games in Gainesville … Led the team with a 3-for-4 performance against Texas May 19 … Reached base in every plate appearance versus Georgia Tech on May 19, going 1-for-1 with a walk and was hit by a pitch … Hit the game-winning, two-RBI double versus Stetson on May 18 … Went 2-for-3 against Mississippi State in the SEC Tournament, after not getting a hit against the Bulldogs in the regular season … Had six hits in eight at bats with two doubles, three RBIs, and three runs scored in the doubleheader against South Carolina on April 24 … Went 4-for-7 with a run scored, four RBIs, and a double in the doubleheader against Arkansas on April 6 … Collected three hits and two RBIs in the 8-4 victory over Alabama on March 14 … Knocked in two RBIs in the win over Georgia Tech on Feb. 24 … Hit a solo home run to break a scoreless tie in the 1-0 win over Massachusetts on Feb. 23 … Went 3-for-3 with a home run, run scored, and two RBIs in the 4-1 win over South Florida on Feb. 14.

 

At UNC-Wilmington (2006): Led the Seahawks with a .391 batting average, 77 hits, 43 RBIs and a .435 on-base percentage ... Set the school record in hits … Also saw time in the pitching circle, earning a 2.42 ERA and a 4-3 record in 12 appearances … Earned First-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors, as well as being named to the All-Rookie Team … Led the conference in batting average and hits, was second in doubles and third in RBIs … Earned CAA Player of the Week honors on March 20 after being named the MVP at the Catamount Classic, finishing the tournament 10-for-15 with a home run and 10 RBIs over five games.

 

High School: A 2005 graduate of John Jay High in Cross River, N.Y. …  Coached by Joe Mammoser … Won the 2004 and 2005 league titles as a member of the John Jay Indians … Was a four-time member of the all-league team … Named all-section three times … A two-time all-state honoree … Batting average never dropped below .500 in four years … Played travel ball for the Virginia Shamrocks … Coached by Tommy Orndorff … Also played volleyball … Earned Cum Laude honors in Latin … Yearbook editor and a member of the student council.
