As a Freshman (2002): Freshman used primarily as a pinch hitter who has seen action at first base and has appeared in 31 games with six starts ... Has four RBI on five hits this year ... Hit two-RBI single in pinch hitting duty in win against St. Johns Feb. 19 ... Finished St. John's series with three RBI...1-for-1 with RBI double in win over Maine March 22 ... Doubled in only at-bat vs. Mississippi State April 6 ... Had 11 putouts while playing first base in two games vs. Texas A&M CC March 2.

High School: Graduate of Zionsville Community High School ... coached by Lorenzo Walker ... named to pre-season all-state and all-conference teams both junior and senior seasons ... received the Distinguished Athlete Award from the Marine Corps ... named to All-Metro North team and Indiana Super Team senior year ... captain and MVP of high school team senior year ... as a senior, batted .422 and fielded .941, slugging percentage was .843 ... holds school records for home runs in a season with eight and a career with 10 ... led Indiana in home runs and was fourth in RBI's senior season ... also played basketball ... set school records for blocked shots in a game and block shots in a season ... won the team award for Most Rebounds.
