As a Sophomore at Florida (2001): A center fielder who was rested early on to help alleviate a nagging injury to her left (non-throwing) shoulder...Had four multiple-hit games, including a 2-for-3, one RBI performance in UF's NCAA win over UConn...Was 9-10 in stolen bases...Batted .254 and scored 20 times.
At Arizona Western CC 2000: Earned first-team All-Conference and All-Region honors as a freshman in 2000...Played mostly in right field for the Matadors...Averaged .346 at the plate with 17 extra-base hits, including five home runs...Also had 37 RBI and 19 stolen bases...Defensively, held a .951 fielding efficiency.
High School: Finished as record-holder for career stolen bases and innings played at Mingus Union...Finished as single-season record holder with 53 hits and 35 runs in 1998...Batted .478 as a junior and .541 as a senior...Team won the conference title three straight years (1996-98)...Finished 13th at the Gold Nationals with the Ramblers in 1997 and 16th there in 1998 with the Hotshots...Also was a first-team all-region and all-conference volleyball player...Conference Volleyball MVP as a senior...Had two right knee surgeries (in 1997 and 1998).
