Career Honors: 1997-98 All Southeastern Conference ... 1997-98 SEC Academic Honor Roll ... 1998 Second-team GTE Academic All-America ... 1997 SEC All-Tournament team ... recorded the first extra base hit and first RBI in Southeastern Conference Softball history against Stetson on 2/8/97.

As a sophomore 1998: Second team GTE Academic All-America ... earned All-Southeastern Conference honors ... played in 69 games ... Finished the year with a .268 batting average ... had 18 extra base hits which included 12 doubles, 5 triples and a home run ... recorded an eight-game hit streak where she batted 12 for 28 with 10 RBI's, a double, 3 triples and a home run ... Went 3 for 4 with 6 RBI's and a run scored against Kentucky.

As a freshman 1997: The Gators leading hitter, posting a .313. average with six home runs ... started in left field for most of the season ... named to the All-Southeastern Conference first team, the SEC All-Tournament team and the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Earned First Team all-state and All-Broward County Honors ... played in the East vs. West and Dade vs. Broward All Star games ... earned Cooper City High School awards as the best offensive and best all-around player ... team won state championships in 1992 and 93 and was the state runner-up in 1994 ... also lettered in basketball and volleyball as a prep.

Personal: Born March 22, 1977 in Miami, Florida ... daughter of Ken and Rita Sandler ... 1995 graduate of Cooper High School ... member of the National Honor Society as a prep.
