1996: Played in 11 matches for 263 minutes...One shot and one assist...Had first collegiate assist against Mississippi State...Suffered fractured nose against Alabama but continued to play the remainder of the year wearing a nose guard...Began her collegiate career as a forward but was moved to defender at the beginning of the season.

1995: Four games for 147 minutes...Missed majority of season due to stress fracture in right leg.

High School: Two time all county...Helped lead team to second place district finishes in 1991 and 1992 and third place district showings in 1994 and 1995...1993 94 team MVP...Helped lead Town N' Country club team to 1995 U 19 national championship and three U 19 state titles (1992 94).

Personal: Born May 9, 1977...Daughter of Eddie and Carmen Alverio...1995 graduate of Academy of Holy Names High School where she was coached by Pam Smith...Member of National and Spanish National Honor Societies...Two time National Cheerleading Association All American...Also lettered in track and softball...Also considered Furman and Old Dominion.
