Retired from collegiate soccer after 1996 season

1996: Did not play in 1996 due to chronic shin splints...Named to the 1996 Southeastern Conference All-Academic Honor Roll.

1995: Transferred to Florida from James Madison University...15 games (four starts) for 526 minutes...Seven goals (one game winner) and four assists for 18 points...Ranked third on team in scoring and tied for third in goals scored...After missing three matches (Georgia, North Carolina and Duke) with hamstring injury, scored in return to lineup vs. Alabama...Netted a goal and an assist on two occasions at South Carolina and vs. Louisiana State...Scored game winning goal and an assist in first career start at Old Dominion.

1994: Saw action in 13 games at JMU...Scored two goals and three assists for seven total points.

1993: Redshirted due to leg injury. High School: Four year starter and four time all district selection...Helped lead Sterling Rolling Thunder club team to Virginia Cup title and fourth place national finish...Member of state select teams since age 13...Captain of club team for six seasons (1987 92)..Involved in Virginia Olympic Development Program (ODP) for five seasons (1988 92).

Personal: Born January 20, 1975...Daughter of Luther and Bonita Oswalt...1993 graduate of Oakton High School where she was coached by Karen Swineheart...Four year prep letterwinner in basketball...Performed in symphonic band, marching band and jazz band at Oakton...Also performed with JMU wind ensemble and JMU chorus...David Lauderback music scholarship recipient at Oakton.
