1973 NCAA CHAMPIONS

Led by runner-up Gary Koch, the Gators captured the 76th Annual NCAA Championships with little difficulty, defeating host Oklahoma State by 10 strokes. Koch lost by just three strokes to Texas' Ben Crenshaw, who won his third-straight individual title. Koch opened up with a three-under par 67 to lead through the first round. The Gators placed their top four golfers in the first 11 spots.
