2010-11 In a Nutshell
- NCAA team titles by the women's tennis and men's indoor track & field teams led the 13 Gator athletic teams among the nation's top 10 in 2010-11 national competition. The University of Florida took fourth in the 2010-11 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup - the third-consecutive top four finish for the Gator program. Florida's men won the inaugural Capital One Cup competition and will receive the Cup at the 2011 ESPYs.
- Florida is the only program in the nation to finish among the nation's top 10 in each of the last 28 national all-sports standings.
- Nine conference titles were earned by Florida teams in 2010-11. Florida matched the league record with eight Southeastern Conference team championships in 2010-11 - baseball, men's basketball, women's cross country, men's golf, soccer, women's tennis, men's indoor track & field and volleyball. The Gators' newest program collected its first American Lacrosse Conference title in 2011.
