Mission & Philosophy

The mission of the Office of Student Life (OSL) team is to prepare University of Florida student-athletes for life after college. In order to accomplish this mission, the OSL will provide and support quality programs and services that facilitate graduation and promote the overall development of student-athletes. The focus of these programs is to promote the personal, educational, and career development of student-athletes. The OSL staff is committed to empowering student-athletes to develop independence, self-reliance, personal values, leadership skills, interdependence and responsibility for their own lives.
