Sun Sports and Fox Sports Florida


Sun Sports, the longtime television partner of the Florida Gators, is the primary television source for coverage of University of Florida athletic events. The network is available statewide in over 6.6 million cable and satellite homes, and nationwide via satellite providers, providing viewers with year-round coverage of Gator athletics.

One of the nation's leading regional sports television networks and part of the FOX family of regional sports networks, Sun Sports currently serves as the TV home for many other local/regional teams including the Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers, Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays, plus additional games from events from the SEC, ACC, Big 12, and Pac 12.

Gator Football on Sun Sports

Every regular-season Florida football game is shown on a delayed basis on Sun Sports (within SEC territory), including the SEC Championship Game if the Gators participate. Sun Sports will regularly replay all games as part of Breakfast with the Gators presented by Regions, airing at 8:30am on Sunday morning following each game. Gator Sports Network announcers Mick Hubert, Lee McGriff, and Brady Ackerman are featured on the broadcast.

Following each edition of Breakfast with the Gators presented by Regions, Sun Sports airs Florida Football with Will Muschamp at noon. Hosted by Mick Hubert, UF's award-winning half-hour coach's show highlights Saturday's game and includes special features and player interviews.

Sun Sports also produces off-season and preseason preview shows that highlight Gator Football, as well as a bowl preview in December.

Gator Men's Basketball

Sun Sports televises six games per season as part of the network's comprehensive agreement with the University. Sun Sports, FOX Sports Florida, FOX Sports South and FOX Sports Southwest will also offer 20 live SEC men’s basketball games each season with select Gator games included in that TV package.

Sun Sports also airs Florida Basketball with Billy Donovan on Sundays at noon during the season. This 30-minute show features highlights of the previous week's games, player profiles and scouting reports on upcoming opponents. The show is hosted by the Voice of the Gators, Mick Hubert and airs one time in December and then nine straight Sundays beginning in January.

Gator Women's Basketball

Four Gator basketball games air exclusively on Sun Sports / FOX Sports Florida each season. An SEC package consisting of numerous additional women’s basketball games also airs on Sun Sports / FOX Sports Florida each season.

In addition, eight episodes of Florida Women's Basketball with Amanda Butler air  on Sun Sports during the season. Join the Gator head coach for an up close look at a rising force in the nation's dominant basketball conference. The show airs at 11:30am on Sun Sports each Sunday beginning in January.

Gator Baseball

Sun Sports/FOX Sports Florida is a Gator fan's best source for UF baseball as the network offers a minimum of 10 live Gator games during the regular season. SEC Tournament games will also be showcased on Sun Sports or FOX Sports Florida as part of the current SEC television agreement. Voice of the Gators, Mick Hubert teams up with UF baseball alumnus Nick Belmonte to call the regular season action.

Olympic Sports

With an overall athletic program consistently competing at a high level across all sports, the University of Florida doesn't stop with TV and radio coverage of football, men's and women's basketball and baseball. Each year Sun Sports produces and airs telecasts of Florida volleyball, soccer, gymnastics, softball, lacrosse and swimming and diving.


The University Athletic Association's half-hour magazine show airs on Sun Sports each Wednesday at 5:30pm ET, with a new episode debuting bi-weekly from September through May.
