Before Florida: Four-year member and team captain of the Hereford High School team … Played for Coach Anne Ensor … Earned first-team all-Baltimore County, first-team all-division and all-metro honors … Also a member of the Skywalkers 09 Blue Club team … Won titles at the Charm City Tournament, National Draw, All-Star Express and Galaxy Tournament … Team won first place in the 2008 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Association (IWLCA) Champions Cup and second place in the 2008 IWLCA Capital Cup … Was also the captain of her soccer team in high school … Soccer team won Regional Championship in 2008.

 

Personal: Born Emily Dohony on Aug. 15, 1991, in Baltimore, Maryland … Daughter of Kevin and Mary Dohony … Has one sister, Kate … Mother played field hockey and lacrosse at Salisbury University in Maryland … Would like to play lacrosse for Team USA … Also considered attending Maryland … Chose Florida because of the beautiful campus, inspiring coaches and it felt like home…Got engaged on the field after the Gators’ win over Stetson on March 19, 2013.
