Held NU’s Shannon Smith scoreless for the first time in 62 games in the ALC Championship, earning a ground ball, a draw control and two caused turnovers ... Marked 2011 Tewaaraton Award winner Shannon Smith at No. 1 Northwestern, keeping her from making anything happen in run of play ... Had a ground ball against No. 17 Vanderbilt ... 2010: Appeared in all 18 games with 17 starts for the Gators and was named to the 2010 ALC Second Team as a defender … Ranked third on the team in ground balls (29), draw controls (18) and caused turnovers (12) … Also had three goals on the season … Selected to the 2010 ALC All-Tournament team for her defensive efforts in the two tournament games … Had two draw controls and a caused turnover in the ALC Semifinal loss to No. 10 Vanderbilt … Started on defense and scored two goals and had a ground ball and a draw control in the ALC Tournament win over No. 20 Johns Hopkins … Had one ground ball and one draw control in the loss at No. 2 Northwestern … Recorded three ground balls in the loss to No. 8 Vanderbilt … Had three caused turnovers, two ground balls and a draw control in the 2OT loss at Colgate … Picked up four ground balls and had a draw control in the win at Le Moyne … Recorded two draw controls and a ground ball in the win over No. 14 Penn State … Had five ground balls, three draw controls and two caused turnovers in the win over Oregon … Scored her first goal and recorded one ground ball and two draw controls in the loss at No. 17 Ohio State … Recorded two ground balls in the win over Cornell … Had one ground ball and caused a turnover in the win over No. 17 New Hampshire … Started and had two draw controls and a caused turnover in the win over Marist … Had four ground balls and one caused turnover in the loss at JHU … Recorded a ground ball and a draw control against No. 5 Georgetown … Had one draw control in the win over SBU … Recorded two caused turnovers and one ground ball at No. 4 North Carolina … Started on defense in the win at La Salle … Had two ground balls, one draw control and a caused turnover in the win over Jacksonville.

Before Florida: Four-year member of Park Vista High School team … Played for Coach Brett Van Alstyne … Led the team to an 18-5 record and a berth to the state Final Four as a senior … Set a single-season school record with 81 goals as a senior … Park Vista’s all-time leader in goals (195), assists (88), ground balls (391), turnovers caused (126) and interceptions (57) … Named the Palm Beach Post Player of the Year in 2008 and 2009 … A US Lacrosse First-Team All-American in 2009 and High School Academic All-American … Team went 21-0 in 2008 before losing in the state title game … First-team all-district, all-county and all-regional performer … Team MVP and team captain in 2008 and 2009 … Named the team’s Rookie of the Year in 2006 and the Midfielder of the Year in 2007 … US Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American selection in 2008 … Member of the Stickbenders lacrosse club team for four years … Also played soccer in high school and team reached the state semifinals … Park Vista’s all-time leading scorer in soccer and earned first-team all-district and all-county honors … Named the Female Athlete of the Year at Park Vista.

Personal: Born Jamie Marie Reeg on March 22, 1991, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania … Daughter of Ron and Kathleen Reeg … Has one brother, Chris … Member of the National Honor Society and is a Florida Academic Scholar … Was a recipient of the Academic Excellence award from Park Vista HS … Began playing lacrosse in New Jersey before her family moved to Florida … Chose Florida because of its outstanding athletic program.
