REDSHIRT SENIOR SEASON (2014)

·         Recorded four saves against Vanderbilt

·         Notched two saves and did not allow a goal against Stetson

·         Tallied five saves in the win over Ohio State

·         Recorded 10 saves and four ground balls against Syracuse

·         Had four saves and two ground balls and allowed just two goals in the win over Michigan

·         Tallied six saves and two ground balls against Loyola

·         Played all 60 minutes against Stony Brook, notching 11 saves and allowing just one goal, while adding a season-high four ground balls

·         Recorded five saves and allowed two goals against High Point

·         Tallied a season-high 13 saves in the season opener against No. 1 North Carolina

JUNIOR SEASON (2012)

·         Played the second half of the Gator’s first-ever shutout against Fresno State, making two saves in her second career scoreless period

·         Made four saves, allowed four goals and had a ground ball against Stony Brook in her first complete game since May 2, 2010

·         Stopped five shots while allowing just two goals in the second half against Temple, adding a ground ball and a caused turnover

·         Made three saves and did not allow a goal in the second half against Siena, earning her first-ever shutout appearance and picking up her first win since 2012

 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011)

·         Only allowed two goals off the bench against Fairfield, while adding a save

·         Came off the bench against Colgate, notching a save and only allowing two goals

·         Had four saves against Jacksonville in her first action of the season

 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2010)

·         Ranked 26th in the nation and third among freshmen in goals against average

·         Finished second on the team with 30 ground balls

·         Had a career-best game against No. 20 Johns Hopkins in the ALC Quarterfinals, making 14 saves and allowing just one goal in the upset win

·         Notched 11 saves in the loss at No. 2 Northwestern

·         Played over 70 minutes and had eight saves in the 2OT loss at Colgate

·         Recorded seven saves and allowed just two goals in the win at Le Moyne

·         Made eight saves in the win over No. 14 Penn State

·         Had seven saves, two ground balls and a caused turnover in the win over Oregon

·         Made nine saves in the loss at No. 17 Ohio State

·         Made 11 saves in the 13-11 loss to No. 5 Georgetown

·         Recorded 10 saves in the loss at No. 4 North Carolina

 

BEFORE FLORIDA

·         Four-year member and senior captain of the four-time regional finalist C. Milton Wright High School team and played for Coach Brent Ritz

·         Team MVP in 2007, 2008 and 2009

·         Earned first-team All-Hartford County honors in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and second-team in 2006

·         A 2008 High School All-America Honorable Mention recipient from US Women’s Lacrosse

·         Earned Under Armour All-American honors in 2007

·         Also played for the NEMS (North East Maryland Select) lacrosse club in Hartford County, Md., for six years

·         Team won the National Club Tournament in 2008 and were finalists at the 2008 Champion Cup and Capital Cup

·         Club team also won the 2007 Top of the Bay Tournament and were finalists in 2006

·         Won the Upper Atlantic Tournament in 2006

·         Finalists at the 2006 Beach Lax Festival and National Draw Finalists in 2005

·         Named first-team all-county in 2008 and second-team in 2006 and 2007 for field hockey

·         Played in the All-Star Senior Game for field hockey.

 

MAJOR: Cara graduated summa cum laude in May 2013 with a B.S. in Sport Management and earned a master’s degree in Sport Management in May 2014.
