Before Florida: Four-year member of The McDonogh School lacrosse team … Played for Coach Chris Robinson … Team ranked No. 2 in the nation in 2009 with an 19-1 record … Totaled 34 goals, 18 assists and 68 ground balls … Named an Under Armour All-American … Team won the 2009 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM) Championship and made it to the title game in 2008 … Named first-team All-Baltimore County and second-team all-metro in 2008 … Played in the 2008 Under Armour Underclassman game on the Baltimore team … Scored 25 goals, had 10 assists and picked up 67 ground balls as a junior … Second-team all-county in 2007 … Also played for the Skywalkers club team for six years … Won titles at the Charm City, National Draw, All-Star Express and Galaxy Tournaments … Team won first place in the 2008 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Association (IWLCA) Champions Cup and second place in the 2008 IWLCA Capital Cup … Named to the 2007 All-Galaxy Team and selected to the 2007 Stars and Stripes team … Won MVP honors in numerous tournaments … Also played soccer in high school … First-team all-state, all-metro, all-county and all-region in soccer … Played for the Maryland State Olympic Development Team and the Regional ODP team from 2004-08.

 

Personal: Born Colby Justyne Rhea on April 25, 1991, in Baltimore, Maryland … Daughter of Gary and Lynn Rhea … Participant in Fellowship of Christian Athletes … Would like to go into nursing or physical therapy after college … Also considered North Carolina, Penn State, Maryland and Notre Dame … Chose Florida because of the new lacrosse program, academics, warm weather and the Gator community.
