Blocked punt Tre Smith, out of Venice, Fla., returned a blocked punt 15 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter for Auburn.

The big special teams play -- Smith and several Tigers teammates storming UF punter Eric Wilbur -- jumpstarted a big second-half comeback for No. 11 Auburn, which went on for a 27-17 upset of unbeaten and second-ranked Florida.

"Where's my toilet paper?" fired up Tigers coach Tommy Tuberville said afterward. "I'm going to Toomer's Corner."

The Tigers outscored the Gators 16-0 after halftime.

Eric Brock's interception of Chris Leak set up the last of four John Vaughn field goals, a 39-yarder to ice the game with 31 seconds to go.

The loss turned out to be the only defeat of UF's eventual second national championship season.
