GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The top-10 matchup between unbeatens Florida and LSU will draw an impressive crowd this weekend.
And not just in the sold-out seats, suites and bleachers.
UF will salute its 2012 Summer Olympic ties Saturday by introducing the 21 athletes -- including three-time gold-medal swimmer Ryan Lochte, plus current Gators standout and silver-medalist Elizabeth Beisel -- along with the three coaches from Team USA during halftime of the nationally televised showdown against the Tigers.
Also on hand will be a handful of former football standouts, including 2012 UF Hall of Fame inductee John L. Williams, current Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive back Ahmad Black and 2012 Southeastern Conference “Legend” Steve Tannen.
