AS A FRESHMAN (2003) - Competed on vault in nine meets and floor in 11 meets...sat out Feb. 14 & 21 competitions with shoulder problem...contributed five out of nine vault scores to team totals...contributed 10 out of 11 floor scores to team totals...set season floor best at March 16 pentangular (9.85)...used a Yurchenko half twist on, front pike off vault for a season-best mark of 9.85 at Feb. 7 dual.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA: Three-year member of the U.S. Senior National Team (1999-02)...10th in the 2001 U.S. Gymnastics Championships all-around and fifth in both vault and floor exercise...12th in the 2000 U.S. Olympic Team Trials...third in the all-around and sixth on the balance beam at the 2000 U.S. Classic in Reno, Nevada...fourth on vault at the 2000 U.S. Gymnastics Championships...took fifth in the all-around at the 1999 USA vs. France competition...trained at Southern California Elite Gymnastics Academy in Temecula, Calif., and was coached by Tim Garrison, Kathy Strate and Meredith Paulicivic.
