AS A SENIOR (2000) - Started the season as an all-around competitor...tied a collegiate best with a 9.65 on vault...scored a 38.75 in the all-around at the Super Six Challenge...career ending knee injury suffered on the vault against the University of Georgia at Dodge Opening Night...Three-time member of the Southeastern Conference All-Academic Honor Roll.

AS A JUNIOR (1999) - Reset collegiate-best marks in each event as a junior...second in Penn State all-around competition with a collegiate-best total of 38.80...posted collegiate-best uneven bars mark of 9.875 to take third in the Dodge Senior Night...in NCAA Championships' balance beam competition, turned in a collegiate-best mark of 9.80...runner-up in the Gatorade SEC Showcase balance beam competition with a mark of 9.775...member of the Academic All-SEC Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE (1998) - Part of the Gators' competitive lineup at the Dodge Invitational and SunTrust Night...posted season-best uneven bars mark of 9.40 in both meets...earned season-best balance beam score of 9.675 at Dodge Invitational...appeared in the SunTrust Night floor lineup, earning a season-best 9.40...member of the Academic All-SEC Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN (1997) - Contributions limited as a freshman due to recovery from fall 1996 shoulder surgery...appeared in Florida's competitive lineup for every event at least once in 1997, earning high mark of 9.50 for vault at the SunTrust Senior Night.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA - Two-year member of the U.S. Senior National Team...claimed 1996 American Classic (Senior Nationals) all-around, vault and balance beam titles plus took third on floor exercise...won all-around and floor plus took third on uneven bars at 1995 U.S. Classic (Senior Nationals)...member of third-place U.S. team at 1996 Elite Cup in Monterrey, Mexico -- took third on bars, fourth on floor and finished sixth in all-around...competed at 1996 Amistad Cup in Guatemala where U.S. finished third...won 1996 Maryland Classic all-around title...fourth in 1996 Bahamas Invitational all-around...all-around champion at 1995 USAIGC Nationals (Senior Open)...lived away from home to train for gymnastics since age 13...trained at Hill's Angels and coached by Kelli Hill.

PERSONAL - Born Aug. 6, 1978...daughter of Mary and Peter Esposito...1996 graduate of Gaithersburg High School...member of National and Spanish Honor Societies...honor roll student...enjoys skating and playing baseball with brother...pursuing a degree in health science education.
