O'Connell Center record total of 39.65...also shared the SEC uneven bars title with a mark of 9.90...became first Gator to claim SEC all-around title since Melissa Miller took back-to-back SEC crowns in 1988 and 1989..earned first-team All-America honors by tying for second in the balance beam (9.90) and tying for third in the uneven bars (9.875) in the NCAA individual event finals...team captain of the silver-medal U.S. team at 1995 World University Games in Japan last August...earned spot on U.S. team by taking third in the WUG trials in late July...set or matched three Gator All-Time Best marks around (39.65), vault (9.975) and balance beam (9.95)...won 24 event titles in 1995, including seven uneven bars, six all-around and five floor exercise crowns...named female recipient of the 1994 Ben Hill Griffin Award, which is given annually to UF's top athlete at the April 7 Florida Hall of Fame Banquet...one of two Gators to compete as an all-arounder in every meet...member of the Academic All-SEC Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (1994) - Earned All-America first-team honors by qualifying for NCAA Championships event finals in both balance beam and uneven bars...also earned a spot on the All-America second team by tying for ninth in all-around (39.05) in the NCAA Championships' team qualifying competition...in NCAA event finals, took third in balance beam (9.875) and tied for fifth in bars (9.875)...then all-around record of 39.475 set in the NCAA Championships' Super Six competition reset her school record and ranked second among all-arounders in Super Six competition...set UF's then all-around mark at Penn State with a tally of 39.375, shattering the previous UF best of 39.125 set by Lynette Wittmeier at the 1993 NCAA Southeast Region Championships...set then-UF uneven bars record of 9.95 at NCAA Southeast Region Championship, erasing her school record of 9.925 set Feb. 11 at Auburn...won nine uneven bars contests, including three consecutive on two occasions...posted a perfect 1994 uneven bars campaign, competing in 15 meets without recording a fall...also claimed five all-around titles and four floor exercise meet crowns in 1994...set or matched every collegiate-best mark during the season...set then collegiate-best beam mark of 9.90 in NCAA Super Six competition...one of three Gators to compete as an all-arounder in every meet of 1994...Florida's top all-arounder at the SEC Championships, taking fifth at 39.25 and sixth in both the beam (9.825) and floor (9.85).
AS A FRESHMAN (1993) - Earned All-America second-team honors for the uneven bars by tying for 17th at 9.875 in NCAA Championships team competition...set or matched four season-best marks at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships vault (9.70), uneven bars (9.875), balance beam (9.80) and all-around (39.05)...all-around total tied for third in the NCAA Region all-around competition...posted an uneven bars mark of 9.85 at the Sun Bank Senior Night to finish second overall...took third in the Shands Invitational all-around competition with a total of 38.55.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA - Took 10th in all-around and second on the uneven bars at the 1991 American Classic...runner-up in 1990 and 1989 Orange Bowl Invitational all-around competitions...placed seventh in the 1991 Buckeye Classic all-around competition and also took third on balance beam...all-around runner-up at 1992 Sunshine Invitational...1992 Great Lakes Invitational all-around runner-up...third in all-around and balance beam at 1991 Capital Cup Invitational....all-around champion at USAIGC...member of American Twisters gym in Pompano Beach, Fla., and coached by Tim Rand.
