The University of Florida women’s tennis team is consistently one of the most successful collegiate programs in the country – and excitement for the 2010-11 season is as strong as ever.

Florida’s roster consists of a sizable nine players - none of whom are seniors. Joanna Mather and Claire Bartlett are juniors, while the four sophomores from last year’s top-rated recruiting class return for the 2010-11 campaign, including Lauren Embree, who was the first freshman in history named Southeastern Conference Player of the Year, and Allie Will, the 2010 SEC Freshman of the Year. The Gators also welcome three true freshmen to the squad aiming to build upon last year’s NCAA runner-up finish.
