AMATUER COMPETITION – Won the Slovenian Junior and Amateur Championship in 2011. She shot a 69 in the junior tournament and then followed it up with a 66 in the amateur tournament. In 2010, Orehek finished fifth in the German Girls Championship and then was second in the 2010 Orange Bowl Tournament. In 2011, Orehek won the award for best amateur player in Slovenia and represented her country in the World Team Championships.

PERSONAL – Ursa is the daughter of Iztok and Meta Orehek. She also has a brother, Luka (28). Orehek chose Florida because of the great golf program and the great coaching staff. She chose UF over Ohio State University and the University of Miami.
