2007-08: An SEC Academic Honor Roll recipient … Helped the Gators earn their fifth-straight SunTrust Gator Invitational title, landing in a tie for 28th place with a three-day score of 214 (67-72-76) … Made his first appearance at the PING/Golfweek Preview Invitational, finishing tied for 59th after firing 15-over 231 (81-76-74).

 

2006-07: Finished the year third on the team in stroke average (73.84) and scoring differential (3.84) … Turned in a one-over 281 (66-77-69-69) at the NCAA Championships to earn a share of 22nd place … His first-round 66 was a career-best 18-hole score, while his consecutive rounds of 69 represented a personal-best 36-hole count of 138 … His tournament total of 281 rates as the third-best four-round score in UF history … Used a first-round 72, his seventh round of the season at par or better, as a springboard to a five-over 221 (72-73-76) and a tie for 27th at the NCAA East Regional … Finished in a tie for 33rd at the SEC Championship with a 14-over 224 (79-69-76) … His second-round 69 was one of just four scores that met or bettered par on the tournament’s second day … Tied for 24th at the United States Collegiate Championship, carding a 10-over 226 (72-77-77) for the tournament … Fired a first-round 68 en route to a tie for 11th at the Chris Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational … Finished the tournament with a one-over total of 217 (68-77-72) to earn his best collegiate finish … Tied for 50th at the Puerto Rico Classic after posting a total of 223 (73-72-78, +7) … Played as an individual at the SunTrust Gator Invitational, tying for 20th behind a six-over score of 216 (72-71-73) … Finished in a tie for 77th with a total of 237 (78-74-85, +21) at the Isleworth Invitational … Carded rounds of 68-73-71 to reach a total of 212 (+2) to finish in a tie for 18th and help Florida win the PING/Golfweek Preview Invitational … Posted his first career top-20 finish at The Preview, and his opening-round 68 marked his first collegiate round below par … One of three freshmen to make his collegiate debut at the season-opening Inverness Invitational … Closed out the tournament with back-to-back rounds of 75 to finish tied for 37th at 232 (82-75-75, +19).

 

Amateur Competition: Held the 36-hole lead at the 2008 Players Amateur after shooting opening rounds of 69 and 64; shot 67 and 68 in the final two rounds to finish 12-under for the tournament in 5th place … Finished in a tie for eighth at the 2008 Southeastern Amateur … Tied for sixth at the 2007 Players Amateur with a 207 (-9) … In the 2007 Holiday Classic finished with a share of second place … Tied for 23rd at the Sahalee Players Championship with scores of 77-73-76-77 = 303 (+15) … Finished with a 72 at the Jacksonville local qualifier for the 2007 U.S. Open, earning a spot as the second alternate for regional competition … A three-time Rolex Junior All-American, earning his final honor in 2006 … Reached the semifinals of the 2006 Arizona Amateur, losing to eventual champion Charlie Beljan … Finished tied for 36th at the 2006 Pacific Coast Amateur … Qualified for the 2006 AJGA Cannon Cup Team, but decided to compete in the Pacific Coast Amateur … Placed first at the 2005 AJGA PING Phoenix Championship, where he shot a three-round total of 65-68-67 = 200 …  Advanced to the quarterfinals at both the 2004 and 2005 U.S. Junior Amateur Championships … Named the 2004 FCWT Junior Tour Player of the Year.
