2008-09: His only appearance of the season came at the Duke Individual Collegiate, where he shot 10-over par 223 and tied for 13th Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second year in a row.
2007-08: Was named to the SEC Freshmen Academic Honor Roll Competed in his fourth-consecutive tournament for the Orange and Blue at the John Hayt Invitational, where he tied teammate Billy Horschel for 38th place following a tournament total of 226 (74-79-73) for a three-day total of 226 Registered the first top-10 finish of his career and was the third Gator in the top-10 at the SunTrust Gator Invitational Placed in a tie for ninth with a career best two-under-par 208 (68-67-73) at the Gators home tournament Helped the Gators earn third place at the Callaway Golf Match Play Championship, going 2-1-1 Shot his first collegiate round under par at the Jerry Pate Invitational, firing a second round 69 and finishing with a five-over 218 (77-69-72), in 44th place for the second-straight tournament Made his Gator debut in the season-opening Inverness Invitational, firing a 13-over 226 (73-80-73), for a share of 44th place.
Amateur Competition: The 34th-rated player in the Golfweek/Titleist Mens Amateur Rankings Tied for 17th at the 2007 Porter Cup, firing four-under par 276 (67-69-70-70) Captured the individual medal at both the 2005 St. Augustine Amateur Classic and the 2006 Terra Cotta Invitational Qualified for match play at the 2005 U.S. Amateur Championship and at the British Amateur Championship in 2006.
