(2003-04) Improved 22 positions from his freshman season by tying for 56th at the NCAA Championships with rounds of 73-73-75-76 = 297 (+17)…In Vargas' first tournament of spring, he finished tied for 41st at the NCAA East Regional Championships with rounds of 72-74-74 = 220 (+10)…Tied for 35th with rounds of 74-76-72 = 222 (+6) at the Gary Koch Invitational…Tied for 42nd at the Carpet Capital Collegiate with rounds of 75-74-73 = 222 to finish at six-over…Tied for 17th at the NCAA Preview at +4…Shot final round of 68 (-2)…Finished two strokes behind teammate Camilo Villegas in fourth at the Bank of Tennessee Classic to open the fall 2003 season...Had a hole-in-one and two eagles in tournament en route to shooting 212 (-4).
