Tailgating Policies
Tailgating at the University of Florida is a cherished part of the overall Gator game day tradition.  But, with your celebration comes responsibility.  Please remember to follow the following guidelines to ensure a FAN-tastic home game experience.

• Always practice positive, fan-friendly behavior.  Be respectful of those around you and your tailgating area.  Remember: drunkenness, obscene or harassing behavior, and violence or threats of violence will not be tolerated.
• Keep your tailgating area clean and free of litter.  “Put it in the can, Gator fan”.
• Open containers of alcohol on public streets, sidewalks and thoroughfares is a violation of City of Gainesville ordinance 4-4B and can result in arrest and/or referral to Student Judicial Affairs.
