A safety who enrolled at Florida in August of 2009 and walked on to the team in September of 2009 and has appeared in four career games…Awarded a scholarship for the 2011 season during training camp.
2012:
Saw action in two games...Recorded one tackle against Kentucky…Named the Gators’ Special Teams Scout Team Player of the Week against Louisiana.
2011:
A member of the UF scout team…Dressed for eight games…Named to the 2011 SEC Fall Honor Roll.
2010:
Appeared in two games, while dressing in 10 games…Made his home debut in the win over Appalachian State, seeing time on kickoff coverage in the second half and defense in the fourth quarter…Made his collegiate debut in the road win at Vanderbilt…Chosen as the Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week vs. Miami University.
2009:
Member of the scout team…Did not see game action.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA:
Played running back, quarterback, linebacker and punter at Branford High School…Was a three-year captain for the football team…2007 and 2008 Class 1B-2A First Team All-Area Selection…Second-team all-state Selection in 2007, first-team all-state selection in 2008…Played three years of varsity basketball and five years of varsity track…Leading scorer for the Buccaneers’ basketball team in 2008…MVP of the track team in 2009…Class A District 4 Champion in 110 meter high hurdles and pole vault in 2009…Also named the valedictorian of his senior class.
