Has appeared in 39 games, with 27 starts, in his career at Florida…Named to 2012 Rimington Award Watch List and Phil Steele Midseason All-SEC Third Team.

 

2012:

Started at center in all 13 games for the Gators in 2012…Named a team captain against Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Louisiana…Had nine games grading out above 80 percent, including 100 percent against Vanderbilt and 92 percent against Florida State…Named team’s Offensive Player of the Game against Texas A&M.

 

2011:

Lined up at both center and left guard throughout the season for the Florida Gators…Started at center against FAU, UAB, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Furman, Florida State and Ohio State in the 2012 TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl; and left guard against South Carolina…Started every game of the year as a member of the Florida offensive line…Received the Scrap Iron award following the Tennessee game.

 

2010:

Played in all 13 of Florida’s games…Made his starting debut at left guard against Penn State in the Outback Bowl…Graded out a Champion in Florida’s win over Vanderbilt…Was a part of Florida’s special teams on the field-goal unit and saw limited action throughout the season at left guard.

 

2009:

A 2009 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll selection with a 3.0 GPA in Social and Behavioral Sciences…Dressed for nine of UF’s 14 games during the 2009 season, but did not see game action and earned a redshirt.

 

PRIOR TO FLORIDA:

Participated in Offense/Defense All-American Bowl…Was selected as the Offense/Defense All-American Bowl Offensive Lineman of the Year…High school teammate of former Gator football player Jeff Demps…Versatile lineman that can play any of the five positions…Selected to the Orlando Sentinel’s All-Central Florida First Team…Rated as a Four-Star offensive guard Prospect by Rivals.com…Chose Florida over USF and UCF…Coached by Walter Banks…Selected as the team’s MVP and the Offensive Player of the Year.
