WHAT THEY ARE SAYING

“David is a real smart guy, a real accountable guy. He’s picking up the offense mentally. He works real hard. He came off those injuries he had in high school (two broken kneecaps). He’s been doing great. He really has. Again, I am real excited about David. I think he is going to have a great future here.” (8/21/08)

Steve Addazio, former UF Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach and current Temple Head Coach

“When Dr. Pete gave us the 95 percent or better that he was going to be fine, we signed him. He did not have a good senior year because he was playing on two injured knees all year. But we need offensive tackles. I really like David Young. He’s got a great mom, a great family, and I love his energy.” (2/7/08)

Urban Meyer, former UF Head Coach

“Ever since I took my official visit, I knew I wanted to be a Gator. Going to Florida was my Plan ‘A’ all along.”  (2/7/08)

David Young, UF offensive lineman
